LEAD (LEaders Accelerating Development) is a youth leadership program that works with college students to foster empathetic, innovative entrepreneurial thinking towards sustainable social change. Our institute has signed an MOU with Deshpande Foundation’s LEAD which focuses on fostering leadership, social entrepreneurship and innovative capabilities in the students. CBALC LEAD Cell undertakes the overall development of students by exposing them to social issues and encouraging them to volunteer their time towards community-building activities. KLE CBALC LEAD CELL students celebrated the Independence day by creating awareness about procedures of availing facilities under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana for the flood victims.
They also distributed clothes and Biscuits to the needy.
They undertook a campaign to create awareness about Post-flood Health and Hygiene requirements at various schools in the Belagavi region.


Yashaswini – 2

KLE CBALC LEAD CELL conducted 10 days vocational program on painting and embroidery “Yashaswini – 2” for rural women.


Promotion Of Paper Bags

Students of KLE CBALC LEAD CELL Ms.Shivani Surkod and Ms.Tanaya Kulkarni have undertaken a Campaign to promote usage of Paper Bags by households as well as Business firms like Bakery, Medical stores, Quick food Chains, and Tailoring Shops. “This Diwali, Paper Thali”.
They also bagged the orders for the supply of Paper Bags during this Project.


Handwashing techniques

Students of KLE CBALC LEAD CELL Mr. Shridhar Belagavi and his team conducted Handwash Campaign for school children at Government Schools in Belagavi.
They demonstrated basic handwashing techniques.



HELMET RALLY
An initiative by KLES’ College of Business Administration Lingaraj College (CBALC) LEAD Cell.
A peaceful walk was Done By Leaders Of CBALC to spread awareness about using Helmets & Ride safely in Belagavi City.
The BlueArmy was Seen Wearing Helmets and Carrying Descriptive Unique Posters and Banners along with them.

The Praising and Appreciation Ceremony For The #Belgaum. #LEADers who did commendable Job on #69thIndependenceDay, I.e.15th August 2015.
Through The New Initiation #LeadITfixIT.
They were Praised by Mrs.Sadhna Pote (Chief Employment Officer, KAS), the Guest of Honor, by handing over Certificates to them.
The Young Leaders also had a Chance of experiencing thoughts of  Dr.Prakash  Kadkol, Principal CBALC.
