Resource Person: Shri. Jagdish Bapat – Head – People Function at Azim Premji Foundation

Take Charge was a one day workshop which was conducted by Mr.Jagdish Bapat – Head – People Function at Azim Premji Foundation at Central Hall of Lingaraj College on 3rd March 2012. It addressed the gathering on “Ten Commandments for Powerful living”.  The program replete with fun and humor was basically realistic in nature.

Ten Commandments were:

“Take Initiative” – It emphasizes action exercised with the firm will than a futile reaction.  “Have Goal” – highlights the indispensability of clear cut goals to attain one’s objectives for which “Time Management” is the utmost requirement. While pursuing goal one must include “others” also to reap the benefits. To accomplish such a thing “Mastery over Communication” goes without any saying. Instead of solo efforts, collective efforts are at times innovative, and “planning” would be more comprehensive and more “symbiotic” in nature “benefiting many”. Success in life will be a mere mirage if one does not enjoy holistic health, physical, emotional. In the absence of this holistic health any attempt for self- development would be an exercise in futility.
